Guppies are one of the easiest and most beautiful aquarium fish to keep. Follow these basic care tips to keep your guppies healthy and vibrant.
Ideal temperature: 24°C – 28°C. Use a heater if your room temperature drops below this range.
Feed guppies 2–3 times daily in small amounts. Good foods include high-quality guppy pellets, flakes, and live foods like Artemia.
Minimum tank size: 20 litres. Guppies breed quickly, so a larger tank is recommended.
Perform 30–40% water change weekly to maintain good water quality.
Keep more females than males (1 male : 2–3 females). Provide plants for fry to hide from adult fish.
