White Spot Disease (Ich)

White spot disease is one of the most common guppy infections. It appears as tiny white dots on the fish body and fins.

Cause: Parasites in aquarium water
Symptoms: White spots, scratching against objects
Treatment: Increase temperature slightly and use anti-ich medicine
Recovery: Usually 5–7 days with proper treatment

Fin Rot

Fin rot causes the fins of guppy fish to appear damaged or torn. It is usually caused by poor water conditions or bacterial infections.

Cause: Bacteria from dirty water
Symptoms: Torn fins, white edges on fins
Treatment: Water change and antibacterial medication
Recovery: New fin growth appears in 1–2 weeks

Swim Bladder Disorder

Swim bladder disease affects the fish's ability to swim normally. The fish may float sideways or struggle to stay balanced.

Cause: Overfeeding or digestive problems
Symptoms: Floating sideways or sinking

Fungal Infection
